Queer Factory
Queer Factory is a grassroots collective building a safe and vibrant queer community in Leeuwarden and the Friesland region. "We bring the queer community together and make it visible in both the city and the province. Driven by a shared need for inclusion and visibility, we joined forces and decided: we’ll just do it ourselves!"
In 2024, Queer Factory launched with a bang: ‘WE’RE HERE, WE’RE QUEER’.
Using culture as a tool, they fight for inclusivity and safety, and stand up for equality and acceptance—even when it meets resistance.
