Bad Nature
The bond between humans and nature is deeply rooted, yet in modern societies, it seems to be slipping further away. We seek peace in the forest or by the sea, yet get frustrated by rain or mud. Bad Nature explores these contradictions, showing how they stem from our growing disconnection from the natural world. At the same time, we live in an era where technology is rapidly shaping and reshaping our future. How do we navigate that?
In collaboration with the Australian dance company, Club Guy & Roni explores how culture and environment influence our perception of nature. The performance raises questions like: How have environmental changes in Australia impacted people's relationship with nature? Can technological progress help foster a more harmonious coexistence with the natural world?
Bad Nature invites us to reflect on how we relate to the world around us — with energetic dance, powerful music, and striking visuals. A unique exchange of styles and perspectives.
About The Human Odyssey
Club Guy & Roni’s The Human Odyssey is a series of international collaborations with dance companies and music ensembles from outside Europe, exploring different aspects of the human experience. The project redefines the stories we tell about each other and the world. Through dance, it examines how universal human concepts and narratives shape our lives and provide insight into our shared story. The project fosters intercultural exchange and enriches the language of dance, with previous collaborations including artists from Mauritania, India, Senegal, and Morocco.
